The passion that founder David Howden, and his entire team, has for ensuring as many horses bred for racing have best chance to transition into future riding horses and thrive within their new careers resonated with us.  So much so that we will, in the near future, be launching a specific bedding range with the thoroughbred in mind to sit alongside our two other specialist products and core range.

“The programme is such an exciting one to be aligned with and we are looking forward to doing all we can to support thoroughbreds with a bedding that will assist ensure their optimal comfort, hygiene and bio-security needs”.

Justine Parker, Programme Director for The Howden Way said “Unibed were the perfect fit for us. We already knew their core bedding range of the Oilseed Rape Straw well and have been impressed by it as they support the National Training Centre at Hothorpe where we have been running multi-day training days.  Both our Rider Talent and Young Horse Academy cohort riders have used the product for their horses and as a team delivering the programme we have been really pleased with the absorbency, hygienic and dust-free environment it has allowed the horses to overnight in.  Having them now supporting all three-programmes and looking at creating a product specifically for thoroughbreds is everything, and more, than we could have asked for and we are really looking forward to working alongide the team at Unibed.  Their support and passion for the programme is something we value greatly and it is great to be welcoming them on board.”
