Be part of The Howden Way Young Horse Academy 2026
All eligible combinations* from the 5-, 6- and 7-year-old Championships at Cornbury House International who go double clear or finish top in the top 20 will be invited to Young Horse Development Days.
The Development Days include flatwork and jumping lesson from top coaches. Combinations will be assessed on a number of factors including; paces, way of going, technique , trainability, and potential. The highest rated combinations across the three days will then be invited to join the 2026 Young Horse Academy.
The Young Horse Development Days Dates and Venues:
• 24th September at North Allerton Equestrian Centre
• 26th September at West Wilts Equestrian Centre
• 29th September at Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex
The Howden Way Young Horse Academy is designed to support and develop talented horse and rider combinations who are not currently engaged in other performance pathways. By providing access to world-class training and education, the programme empowers riders to produce young horses through the age group levels.
